Cure damaging night time teeth grinding with your own custom-made night guard from Smile Direct.

The exact same type of night guard would retail at over £100 when bought from a Dentist.

Ours costs just £52!  Not to be confused with inferior 'boil-and-bite' type guards.

Further information on night time teeth grinding...

Teeth grinding can occur for a number of reasons, for example if you are feeling stressed or it can occur in an unconscious effort to ‘cure’ an uneven bite.  Only the lower jaw can move and cause the grinding action, this is due to it being ‘hinged’ to the upper jaw, therefore you need only wear one tray on your lower teeth.

Smile Direct use pro form ethylene vinyl ascetate material to make custom mouth guards, this material is of a very fine, yet durable construction making it comfortable for prolonged periods of wear including overnight use.  Our customers find they are tolerated exceptionally well during sleep.  All materials carry a lot number and the CE mark.

We advise that the night guard should be worn for at least 8 hours a day for a week prior to wearing it at night to ensure it will be tolerated during sleep.

Symptoms of teeth grinding:

·        Recurrent, unexplained headaches, especially in the temples

·        Head, neck or shoulder pain

·        Sensitive teeth

·        Breakage/chipping of teeth or fillings, especially larger fillings

·        Sculpting or ridging of the tongue/inside of cheeks

·        Tightness in jaw muscles

·        Gum recession

·        Clicking of jaw

·        Wearing down of teeth surfaces, especially obvious in front teeth

People who are very heavy tooth grinders, and are known to 'smash' their teeth together, may need to consider a hard night guard.
