By accepting this product you agree that:
After the customer has paid for the product in full the product belongs to the customer.
You will only use the product (impression putty, impression trays, whitening gel and whitening trays) for the sole purpose of whitening your teeth.
You will not use the product if you are pregnant or breast feeding until you have consulted your doctor.
You will take the impression yourself.
You do not have loose crowns, veneers or bridgework. Impression taking carries the risk of dislodging loose teeth, defective crowns veneers bridgework and fillings. You will check that none of these applies to your teeth prior to taking your impressions. If they do you will consult with your dentist prior to use and if you experience any problems following use of our product, we will not be liable for any dental repair work following use of our product.
You do not have gum disease, braces, have not had recent mouth surgery or have exposed tooth roots.
You acknowledge that this process will not whiten any dental work such as crowns, veneers, fillings, bridgework etc.
You are not allergic to the product and that you will follow the guidelines for patch testing.
The whitening trays are custom made devices for the specific use by the customer and conform to relevant essential requirements set out in Annex 1 of the Medical Devices directive (at 93/42EEC). To comply with the UK and EEC directives we provide the Carbamide Peroxide gel primarily as an antimicrobacterial agent. Tooth whitening is a secondary feature and the two properties cannot be separated.
We will normally send kit 1 out within two working days after successfully taking payment. An extra five days should be allowed for cheques to clear.
Customers outside the UK should allow up to an extra five working days for kits to arrive. Kit 2 which contains the whitening trays and gel will be despatched three working days after receiving an accurate impression.
Credit card and order information is captured via a secure 128-bit SSL encrypted page. No personal information is held in clear text on our website.
You have the right to end the contract at any time. If the first kit (impression taking material) is returned intact then a full refund will be made. If the second kit (trays and whitening gel syringes) is returned the cost of the whitenening gel syringes will be refunded.
Should any of the products provided be unsatisfactory for whatever reason then the full cost of the process will be refunded to the customer.
If the customer has followed the instructions for use and the product does not result in whitening the teeth then Smile Direct (UK) Ltd undertake to refund the cost 100% after 30 days from purchase.
A choice in law applies should the customer move abroad.
Customers' information will not be disclosed to third parties (unless we sell Smile Direct (UK) Ltd in which case customers' information will be sold to the buyer unless you have stated otherwise).
Complaints concerning the quality of goods must be made within seven days of receiving them. All original packaging should be kept should we require you to return the goods for inspection prior to possible replacement. The gel cannot be replaced if opened, non-compliance with the instructions accompanying the kits may invalidate any claim for a refund. Our entire liability under this contract shall not exceed the price of goods supplied pursuant to the contract except as expressly provided in these conditions.
The prices for goods quoted on the website are inclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.

LED Teeth Whitening Terms & Conditions
The medical informed consent form will be completed truthfully and to the best of your ability and signed as such by you.
The procedure and treatment will be explained to you. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions and have them answered to your satisfaction prior to the treatment.
You understand that there may be some shade regression in the two to three weeks following treatment.
You have had a full dental check up with your own dentist within a 12 month period. You do not have gum disease nor had recent mouth surgery.
You understand that the LED whitening will only lighten crowns, veneers and dentures and tooth coloured fillings back to their original colour when fitted. It will not whiten them.
You understand that Smile Direct (UK) Ltd cannot guarantee the number of shades that teeth will whiten. Smile Direct reserve the right to carry out further treatment under a treatment plan at home and another treatment in the clinic where appropriate by agreement to ensure satisfaction with no further charge.
You agree to follow the aftercare instructions fully.
No credit card or payment information is held on the web site or in the offices; any details of payments taken by phone are shredded securely following payment.
Any cancellations for appointments for teeth whitening treatments will be given at least 24 hours prior to treatment otherwise the deposit will be non returnable unless there are extenuating circumstances.
Any complaints concerning the quality of service and results of treatment must be registered with Smile Direct in the first seven days following treatment.
